Jonas Brothers Reunite with Demi Lovato for Surprise ‘Camp Rock’ Throwback at MetLife Stadium
Seventeen years after their Disney Channel debut, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato brought “Camp Rock” back to life with a nostalgic performance that sent fans into a frenzy.
The Jonas Brothers kicked off their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown tour with a surprise that had fans screaming — a full-blown Camp Rock reunion with Demi Lovato.
On Sunday night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Lovato joined Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas on stage to perform beloved tracks from their 2008 Disney Channel movie Camp Rock, including “This Is Me,” “Gotta Find You,” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
“We haven’t sung this in almost 10 years,” Joe told the crowd after “This Is Me.”
“Might’ve been longer,” Lovato added with a smile.
The moment was electric. Fans sang along, many visibly emotional as the duo recreated their on-screen chemistry from the film — and their brief real-life romance from the early 2010s.
Lovato, now 32, wore an off-white halter top and matching flared slacks as she walked toward Joe at the front of the stage, belting out the lyrics that launched her career. The crowd’s reaction was deafening.
Lovato later posted a clip of the performance on Instagram, writing “thanks for having me” and tagging the Jonas Brothers. Her husband, Jordan Lutes, shared his support online, writing, “Couldn’t be more proud. I love u sooo much baby.”
The night also featured other nostalgic guests, including Jesse McCartney, who performed “Beautiful Soul,” and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, who co-hosted the livestream alongside Franklin Jonas, the youngest Jonas sibling.
The reunion has reignited speculation about a possible Camp Rock 3, especially after cast members hinted earlier this year that a third installment could be in the works. While Disney hasn’t confirmed anything, fans are hopeful.
The Jonas Brothers are set to play 51 more shows across the country in support of their latest album, Greetings from Your Hometown. But for many, the tour’s opening night was already the highlight — a nostalgic blast from the Disney Channel past.
