Epic Games has announced the release of Fortnite update v24.01 on March 20, 2023, a Monday, which is rather unusual. Despite the minor nature of the update, the servers will be temporarily taken offline, with downtime starting at approximately 3:30 am Eastern Time. Players should log out of Save The World to avoid losing progress.

As this is just a patch, the downtime should not last more than an hour or so. However, if the update is mainly focused on fixing stability or performance issues, testing may be required, potentially leading to a longer downtime.
According to leaks from ShiinaBR, the update v24.01 will mostly include performance issue fixes and may include supporting files for the upcoming Unreal Editor for Fortnite.
While there are no major content changes expected, the community is speculating about possible collaborations, such as with John Wick: Chapter 4, which is releasing on March 24, 2023.

Other characters from the franchise, such as Charon, Bowery King, and Caine, could make for great in-game outfits, given the season’s theme.
Another potential collaboration could be with Doctor Who, as hinted by the official account on Twitter. However, apart from these, there is not much else to expect from Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 following the v24.01 update, which will be a regular maintenance patch with a lot of speculated content.
