Unfortunately, Adah Sharma has also been subjected to death threats due to the ongoing controversy surrounding “The Kerala Story.” The film has faced criticism from certain political parties and groups, alleging that it promotes hatred against the Muslim community and lacks factual basis. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee even imposed a ban on the movie in the state.

Despite the challenges, Adah Sharma expressed her gratitude to the audience for their overwhelming response to “The Kerala Story,” making it a blockbuster hit. She acknowledged the attempts to discredit her and the film but celebrated the film’s success, declaring that the audience had emerged victorious.

“The Kerala Story” has been enjoying tremendous success at the box office since its release on May 5. It is expected to surpass the ₹130 crore mark within two weeks of its release. The film revolves around the stories of Hindu women from Kerala who were converted to Islam and trafficked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen, it has captured the attention of audiences nationwide.

Despite the accident and the controversies surrounding the film, Adah Sharma remains resilient and thankful for the support she has received from her fans.
